“The recent ruling by the US District Court in Oregon, which led to the suspension of Oregon’s annual WAC increase reporting law on constitutional grounds, may signal a new direction for the SPTR laws. After years of a steady stream of the passage of state laws requiring manufacturers to justify price increases by providing proprietary company information, we will be watching to see if more states will follow the Oregon ruling and back away from this trend.
