In April 2020, with the true extent of COVID-19 impacts only just fully emerging and lockdowns just being put in place in many parts of the world, Informa Connect Life Sciences asked the global life sciences community about the impacts the pandemic was having on the industry and their response to it. We got a huge response with over 600 industry professionals completing the survey, which provided the data for a fascinating report.
A year on, we wanted to see how the picture has changed, so conducted a follow up study of life sciences professionals from the pharma, biotech, medical device and regulatory industries around the world. The survey was completed 379 times and the data - presented in this report - reveals insights into how the global life sciences community has responded to the crisis, the impacts it has had on the different industries, and how the future looks.
