Many incumbents entering into the wealth and investment management industry find themselves grappling with an unexpected adversary – impostor syndrome. Entering into an industry built on tradition and expertise, the weight of self-doubt can cast a shadow over their confidence. However, it is the entrance of new, diverse voices and ideas that holds the key to the industry's evolution. Making a conscious effort to embrace these different voices and ways of thinking isn't just an act of inclusivity; it's a strategic imperative that has the power to reshape the landscape of wealth management for the better.
Magui Santos Silva, Software Engineer, Calastone, paid a visit to the IMpower Studios in Monaco, to tell us about her first experience at IMpower. During this interview, Magui touches on the importance of initiatives like the Finding Your Voice programme, chipping away at the impostor syndrome she felt in the lead up to IMpower and what more can be done within the industry to embrace the different voices of the wealth management industry.
